R is a free and open-source software for data wrangling, creating graphics, and doing statistics (among other applicatons). Because it’s open source, there is a large body of contributors continually writing code and adding to the functionality of R.
RStudio is another programme, which interfaces with R in a much more user-friendly way. You can download both R and RStudio here.
In this course, we will get comforable using R through a series of four tutorials covering the basics, data wrangling, creating plots, and statistical examination of data.
